This project entails the journey of the early commuter from the East Bay across to San Francisco and the Peninsula aboard the Bay Area Rapid Transportation. Many commuters choose to make this journey due to recent financial hardships and the drastic rise in housing costs in San Francisco, where they have resorted to paying lower rent in the East Bay while remaining within proximity of the city to take advantage of higher wages. Others have taken upon the desolate-like city of Oakland and the rest of Alameda County by choice to expand their business and simpler lifestyle. Then there are those few who have, for many years, sacrificed to working and studying in the city for sustainability and progress. Everyday I joined along to begin the commute in lethargy but just enough to get me onboard.
